Buy Blue & Gold Macaw in Chavakkad, Kerala

What is listed for Chavakkad is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Blue & Gold Macaw you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Blue & Gold Macaw.

Is a Blue & Gold Macaw a sensible choice for you in Chavakkad?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Blue & Gold Macaw placements in Chavakkad than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Blue & Gold Macaw is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Blue & Gold Macaw that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

What a Blue & Gold Macaw costs in Chavakkad

Expect ₹130,187 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

humid coastal, and the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

What you will pay

Expect ₹130,187 upward, to around ₹130,187. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
