Buy Blue & Gold Macaw in Kuttanad, Kerala

We place across Kuttanad and the wider Kerala region. If a large bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A large breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Blue & Gold Macaw arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Blue & Gold Macaw; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

What a Blue & Gold Macaw costs in Kuttanad

Between ₹130,187 and ₹130,187 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Blue & Gold Macaw costs more up front and less in the first months.

Is a Blue & Gold Macaw a sensible choice for you in Kuttanad?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A large bird in a Kuttanad apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

warm and humid, and the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

What you will pay

Expect ₹130,187 upward, to around ₹130,187. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
