Buy Dusky Lorikeet in Talikoti, Karnataka

What is listed for Talikoti is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Dusky Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Dusky Lorikeet that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Dusky Lorikeet.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Dusky Lorikeet; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Dusky Lorikeet will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

pleasant semi-tropical, and comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Is a Dusky Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Talikoti?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Dusky Lorikeet placements in Talikoti than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

What you will pay

Expect ₹62,167 upward, to around ₹62,167. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Dusky Lorikeet is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
