Buy Dusky Lorikeet in Narsimhulapet, Telangana
We place across Narsimhulapet and the wider Telangana region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Is a Dusky Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Narsimhulapet?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Dusky Lorikeet will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Narsimhulapet without much drama.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Dusky Lorikeet are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Dusky Lorikeet names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Dusky Lorikeet reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Dusky Lorikeet that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Weather, coat and the Telangana year
moderate Deccan, and the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Dusky Lorikeet price, and the cost after it
₹62,167 to ₹62,167 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Dusky Lorikeet without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Dusky Lorikeet in Narsimhulapet: local climate
Narsimhulapet is hottest in May, averaging 41°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Dusky Lorikeet needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 15°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Dusky Lorikeet bird, the easiest months to arrive are October to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 30 | 34 | 38 | 41 | 41 | 35 | 32 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 15 | 18 | 22 | 25 | 28 | 26 | 24 | 24 | 23 | 21 | 18 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 7 | 15 | 20 | 34 | 129 | 193 | 214 | 154 | 108 | 24 | 8 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
