Buy Moluccan Cockatoo in Mettur, Tamil Nadu

What is listed for Mettur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Moluccan Cockatoo you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a large bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Moluccan Cockatoo are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Is a Moluccan Cockatoo a sensible choice for you in Mettur?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Moluccan Cockatoo will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Mettur without much drama.

Weather, coat and the Tamil Nadu year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a large bird notices both. the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Moluccan Cockatoo will barely register the change.

What a Moluccan Cockatoo costs in Mettur

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Moluccan Cockatoo without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Moluccan Cockatoo; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Moluccan Cockatoo arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

What you will pay

Expect ₹311,626 upward, to around ₹311,626. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Moluccan Cockatoo is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
