Buy African Grey Parrot in Hosur, Tamil Nadu

What is listed for Hosur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the African Grey Parrot you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Is a African Grey Parrot a sensible choice for you in Hosur?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium bird in a Hosur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a medium bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young African Grey Parrot are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Feeding a medium bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The African Grey Parrot will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Weather, coat and the Tamil Nadu year

moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips For a African Grey Parrot that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a medium African Grey Parrot to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a medium bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

What you will pay

Expect ₹67,146 upward, to around ₹67,146. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
