We place across Pathanapuram and the wider Kerala region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Is a Dusky Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Pathanapuram?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Pathanapuram apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Dusky Lorikeet will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Dusky Lorikeet are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small bird entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Dusky Lorikeet names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

What a Dusky Lorikeet costs in Pathanapuram

Expect ₹62,167 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

What you will pay

Expect ₹62,167 upward, to around ₹62,167. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Dusky Lorikeet is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
