Buy Dusky Lorikeet in Kunnamkulam, Kerala

What is listed for Kunnamkulam is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Dusky Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Dusky Lorikeet is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Dusky Lorikeet reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Dusky Lorikeet names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Dusky Lorikeet comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Kunnamkulam flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

What a Dusky Lorikeet costs in Kunnamkulam

Between ₹62,167 and ₹62,167 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Dusky Lorikeet costs more up front and less in the first months.

What you will pay

Expect ₹62,167 upward, to around ₹62,167. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Dusky Lorikeet is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
