Buy Blue & Gold Macaw in Kottayam, Kerala

What is listed for Kottayam is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Blue & Gold Macaw you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Feeding a large bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Blue & Gold Macaw that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

What a Blue & Gold Macaw costs in Kottayam

Expect ₹130,187 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important For a Blue & Gold Macaw that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Is a Blue & Gold Macaw a sensible choice for you in Kottayam?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Blue & Gold Macaw placements in Kottayam than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a large Blue & Gold Macaw to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Blue & Gold Macaw arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

What you will pay

Expect ₹130,187 upward, to around ₹130,187. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
