Buy Dusky Lorikeet in Whitefield, Karnataka

What is listed for Whitefield is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Dusky Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership For a Dusky Lorikeet that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Dusky Lorikeet to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Dusky Lorikeet that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Dusky Lorikeet arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Dusky Lorikeet comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Whitefield flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

What a Dusky Lorikeet costs in Whitefield

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Dusky Lorikeet without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

What you will pay

Expect ₹62,167 upward, to around ₹62,167. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
