Buy Yellow Naped Amazon in Siddapur, Karnataka

We place across Siddapur and the wider Karnataka region. If a medium bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Yellow Naped Amazon names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a medium bird notices both. the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Yellow Naped Amazon will barely register the change.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Yellow Naped Amazon arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Yellow Naped Amazon.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a medium bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Yellow Naped Amazon are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Feeding a medium bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Yellow Naped Amazon that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

What you will pay

Expect ₹94,020 upward, to around ₹94,020. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
