Buy Dusky Lorikeet in Kalkere, Karnataka

What is listed for Kalkere is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Dusky Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.

What a Dusky Lorikeet costs in Kalkere

Expect ₹62,167 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Dusky Lorikeet will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Is a Dusky Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Kalkere?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Dusky Lorikeet will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Kalkere without much drama.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Dusky Lorikeet is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Dusky Lorikeet.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Dusky Lorikeet are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

What you will pay

Expect ₹62,167 upward, to around ₹62,167. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Dusky Lorikeet is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
