What is listed for Jayanagar is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Blue Monk you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Is a Blue Monk a sensible choice for you in Jayanagar?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Jayanagar apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Blue Monk comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Jayanagar flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

What a Blue Monk costs in Jayanagar

Between ₹26,131 and ₹26,131 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Blue Monk costs more up front and less in the first months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Blue Monk.

Blue Monk price, and the cost after it

₹26,131 to ₹26,131 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Blue Monk without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every Blue Monk is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
