Buy Hahn's Macaw in Horamavu, Karnataka

What is listed for Horamavu is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Hahn's Macaw you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership For a Hahn's Macaw that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Hahn's Macaw is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Hahn's Macaw.

What a Hahn's Macaw costs in Horamavu

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Hahn's Macaw without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Hahn's Macaw; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Hahn's Macaw comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Horamavu flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

What you will pay

Expect ₹64,953 upward, to around ₹64,953. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Every Hahn's Macaw is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
