Buy Cockatiel in Horamavu, Karnataka

What is listed for Horamavu is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Cockatiel you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Cockatiel that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 15-20 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

moderate Deccan, and the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Cockatiel.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Cockatiel names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Is a Cockatiel a sensible choice for you in Horamavu?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a cheerful Cockatiel will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Horamavu without much drama.

What a Cockatiel costs in Horamavu

Between ₹6,120 and ₹6,120 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Cockatiel costs more up front and less in the first months.

What you will pay

Expect ₹6,120 upward, to around ₹6,120. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 15-20 Years.

Health and handover

Every Cockatiel is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
