Buy Dusky Lorikeet in Cantonment, Karnataka

What is listed for Cantonment is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Dusky Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Is a Dusky Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Cantonment?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Cantonment apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Dusky Lorikeet.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

pleasant semi-tropical, and comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

What a Dusky Lorikeet costs in Cantonment

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Dusky Lorikeet without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Dusky Lorikeet are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

What you will pay

Expect ₹62,167 upward, to around ₹62,167. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
