Buy Dusky Lorikeet in Yerravaripalem, Andhra Pradesh
What is listed for Yerravaripalem is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Dusky Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Dusky Lorikeet reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Dusky Lorikeet arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.
What a Dusky Lorikeet costs in Yerravaripalem
The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Dusky Lorikeet without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Dusky Lorikeet; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Dusky Lorikeet that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.
Dusky Lorikeet price, and the cost after it
₹62,167 to ₹62,167 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Dusky Lorikeet without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Dusky Lorikeet in Yerravaripalem: local climate
Yerravaripalem is hottest in April, averaging 39°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Dusky Lorikeet needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from October to November, and October is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Dusky Lorikeet bird, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, June, July, August, September and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 28 | 32 | 37 | 39 | 38 | 35 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 30 | 28 | 27 |
| Low °C | 16 | 17 | 20 | 24 | 26 | 25 | 24 | 23 | 23 | 22 | 20 | 17 |
| Rain mm | 9 | 4 | 12 | 22 | 49 | 62 | 92 | 103 | 120 | 189 | 181 | 61 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
