Buy Dusky Lorikeet in Satyavedu, Andhra Pradesh
What is listed for Satyavedu is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Dusky Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Dusky Lorikeet are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention For a Dusky Lorikeet that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Dusky Lorikeet.
What a Dusky Lorikeet costs in Satyavedu
Expect ₹62,167 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Is a Dusky Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Satyavedu?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Dusky Lorikeet will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Satyavedu without much drama.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Dusky Lorikeet is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.
Dusky Lorikeet price, and the cost after it
₹62,167 to ₹62,167 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Dusky Lorikeet without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Dusky Lorikeet in Satyavedu: local climate
Summer here peaks in May at about 36°C. That is manageable for a Dusky Lorikeet: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 20°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from October to November, and November is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Dusky Lorikeet bird, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, March, June, July and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 28 | 30 | 34 | 36 | 36 | 35 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 30 | 28 | 27 |
| Low °C | 20 | 21 | 23 | 26 | 28 | 27 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 23 | 22 |
| Rain mm | 14 | 5 | 12 | 23 | 48 | 66 | 104 | 125 | 137 | 256 | 278 | 110 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
