Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year

humid coastal, and the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

What a Black Capped Conure costs in Kosigi

Expect ₹31,622 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Black Capped Conure reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.

Is a Black Capped Conure a sensible choice for you in Kosigi?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Kosigi apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Black Capped Conure comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Kosigi flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

What you will pay

Expect ₹31,622 upward, to around ₹31,622. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
