Buy Dusky Lorikeet in Jeelugu Milli, Andhra Pradesh
We place across Jeelugu Milli and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Dusky Lorikeet arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.
What a Dusky Lorikeet costs in Jeelugu Milli
Expect ₹62,167 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
warm and humid, and moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Dusky Lorikeet will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Dusky Lorikeet names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Dusky Lorikeet.
Dusky Lorikeet price, and the cost after it
₹62,167 to ₹62,167 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Dusky Lorikeet without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Dusky Lorikeet in Jeelugu Milli: local climate
Jeelugu Milli is hottest in April, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Dusky Lorikeet needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from June to October, and July is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Dusky Lorikeet bird, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 30 | 34 | 38 | 40 | 39 | 34 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 24 | 27 | 26 | 24 | 24 | 24 | 22 | 19 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 5 | 10 | 10 | 24 | 54 | 152 | 206 | 194 | 194 | 202 | 67 | 20 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
