Buy Dusky Lorikeet in Ghantasala, Andhra Pradesh
We place across Ghantasala and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Dusky Lorikeet arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
coastal tropical, and the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Is a Dusky Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Ghantasala?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Dusky Lorikeet placements in Ghantasala than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Dusky Lorikeet that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Dusky Lorikeet comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Ghantasala flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Dusky Lorikeet reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.
Dusky Lorikeet price, and the cost after it
₹62,167 to ₹62,167 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Dusky Lorikeet without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Dusky Lorikeet in Ghantasala: local climate
Ghantasala is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Dusky Lorikeet needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 18°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
Most of the year's rain falls in October. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Dusky Lorikeet bird, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 30 | 34 | 37 | 39 | 40 | 36 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 29 |
| Low °C | 18 | 20 | 22 | 25 | 28 | 27 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 23 | 20 | 18 |
| Rain mm | 8 | 8 | 9 | 18 | 42 | 90 | 128 | 142 | 148 | 166 | 81 | 22 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
