What is listed for Thamarassery is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Boxer Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Boxer Puppy reads consistency as safety, and a settled dog learns faster.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Boxer Puppy names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Boxer Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Thamarassery flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
What a Boxer Puppy costs in Thamarassery
Between ₹26,995 and ₹26,995 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Boxer Puppy costs more up front and less in the first months.
Is a Boxer Puppy a sensible choice for you in Thamarassery?
You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A large dog in a Thamarassery apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Boxer Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.
What you will pay
Expect ₹26,995 upward, to around ₹26,995. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Health and handover
Every Boxer Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Boxer in Thamarassery: local climate
Summer here peaks in March at about 34°C. That is manageable for a Boxer, but watch it closely because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and a large body sheds heat slowly: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from May to October, and June is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Boxer puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 29 | 32 | 34 | 32 | 29 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 26 | 26 | 26 | 27 |
| Low °C | 16 | 17 | 20 | 21 | 21 | 21 | 20 | 20 | 20 | 20 | 18 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 4 | 7 | 28 | 74 | 166 | 377 | 371 | 269 | 206 | 209 | 109 | 22 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Boxer Puppy
Your week with a Boxer Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Boxer Puppy comes home.
