We place across Mallappally and the wider Kerala region. If a large dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Feeding a large dog without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A large breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Afghan Hound Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A aloof Afghan Hound Puppy is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 12–14 Years.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Afghan Hound Puppy reads consistency as safety, and a settled dog learns faster.

Is a Afghan Hound Puppy a sensible choice for you in Mallappally?

You are choosing a 12–14 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A large dog in a Mallappally apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

What a Afghan Hound Puppy costs in Mallappally

Between ₹78,285 and ₹78,285 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Afghan Hound Puppy costs more up front and less in the first months.

What you will pay

Expect ₹78,285 upward, to around ₹78,285. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 12–14 Years.

Health and handover

Every Afghan Hound Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
