We place across Mallappally and the wider Kerala region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Pomeranian Puppy.
What a Pomeranian Puppy costs in Mallappally
Between ₹13,785 and ₹13,785 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Pomeranian Puppy costs more up front and less in the first months.
Settling in with children and other pets
Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Pomeranian Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Mallappally flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Pomeranian Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Weather, coat and the Kerala year
the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important For a Pomeranian Puppy that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
What you will pay
Expect ₹13,785 upward, to around ₹13,785. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Pomeranian in Mallappally: local climate
Summer here peaks in March at about 34°C. That is manageable for a Pomeranian, but watch it closely because its double coat holds heat close to the body: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 18°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from May to November, and June is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Pomeranian puppy, the easiest months to arrive are December to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 29 | 32 | 34 | 32 | 29 | 27 | 26 | 26 | 26 | 27 | 27 | 27 |
| Low °C | 18 | 19 | 21 | 22 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 21 | 21 | 21 | 20 | 19 |
| Rain mm | 15 | 28 | 57 | 127 | 246 | 357 | 296 | 251 | 256 | 341 | 200 | 46 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Pomeranian Puppy
A practical checklist for a small dog in a Mallappally flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a family friendly breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
