Buy Beagle in Kozhikode, Kerala

What is listed for Kozhikode is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Beagle you asked for and hear about it in six months.

What a Beagle costs in Kozhikode

Between ₹22,366 and ₹22,366 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Beagle costs more up front and less in the first months.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Beagle arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.

Feeding a medium dog without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Beagle that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important For a Beagle that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Beagle.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a medium dog, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Beagle are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

What you will pay

Expect ₹22,366 upward, to around ₹22,366. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
