Buy Rottweiler Puppy in Kothamangalam, Kerala
What is listed for Kothamangalam is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Rottweiler Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Is a Rottweiler Puppy a sensible choice for you in Kothamangalam?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Rottweiler Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Kothamangalam without much drama.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Rottweiler Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.
Weather, coat and the Kerala year
the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important For a Rottweiler Puppy that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
What a Rottweiler Puppy costs in Kothamangalam
Between ₹27,992 and ₹27,992 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Rottweiler Puppy costs more up front and less in the first months.
Feeding a large dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Rottweiler Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Rottweiler Puppy names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.
Rottweiler Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹27,992 to ₹27,992 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Rottweiler Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Rottweiler in Kothamangalam: local climate
Summer here peaks in March at about 34°C. That is manageable for a Rottweiler, but watch it closely because a large body sheds heat slowly: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 23°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from May to October, and June is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Rottweiler puppy, the easiest months to arrive are December to April: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 32 | 33 | 34 | 33 | 31 | 29 | 28 | 28 | 28 | 29 | 29 | 30 |
| Low °C | 23 | 24 | 26 | 26 | 27 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 23 |
| Rain mm | 4 | 8 | 28 | 88 | 226 | 589 | 565 | 409 | 275 | 251 | 122 | 25 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Rottweiler Puppy
Your week with a Rottweiler Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Rottweiler Puppy comes home.
