Buy Maltipoo Puppy in Kothamangalam, Kerala
What is listed for Kothamangalam is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Maltipoo Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Feeding a small dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Maltipoo Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Weather, coat and the Kerala year
the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important For a Maltipoo Puppy that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Maltipoo Puppy that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.
What a Maltipoo Puppy costs in Kothamangalam
Expect ₹37,341 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a small Maltipoo Puppy to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Maltipoo Puppy is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.
Maltipoo Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹37,341 to ₹37,341 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Maltipoo Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Health and handover
Every Maltipoo Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Maltipoo in Kothamangalam: local climate
Summer here peaks in March at about 34°C. That is manageable for a Maltipoo: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 23°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from May to October, and June is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Maltipoo puppy, the easiest months to arrive are December to April: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 32 | 33 | 34 | 33 | 31 | 29 | 28 | 28 | 28 | 29 | 29 | 30 |
| Low °C | 23 | 24 | 26 | 26 | 27 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 23 |
| Rain mm | 4 | 8 | 28 | 88 | 226 | 589 | 565 | 409 | 275 | 251 | 122 | 25 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Maltipoo Puppy
Your week with a Maltipoo Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Maltipoo Puppy comes home.
