We place across Maddur and the wider Karnataka region. If a medium dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Feeding a medium dog without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Beagle will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Beagle comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Maddur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

What a Beagle costs in Maddur

The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Beagle without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Is a Beagle a sensible choice for you in Maddur?

You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium dog in a Maddur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a medium dog notices both. comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Beagle will barely register the change.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Beagle is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.

What you will pay

Expect ₹22,366 upward, to around ₹22,366. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
