What is listed for Athni is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Afghan Hound Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Afghan Hound Puppy.

Is a Afghan Hound Puppy a sensible choice for you in Athni?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Afghan Hound Puppy placements in Athni than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

What a Afghan Hound Puppy costs in Athni

Expect ₹78,285 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Afghan Hound Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Afghan Hound Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Athni flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

pleasant semi-tropical, and the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the dog dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

What you will pay

Expect ₹78,285 upward, to around ₹78,285. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 12–14 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
