What is listed for Kodumur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Saint Bernard Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Saint Bernard Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Saint Bernard Puppy is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a giant dog notices both. moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Saint Bernard Puppy will barely register the change.
What a Saint Bernard Puppy costs in Kodumur
Between ₹39,369 and ₹39,369 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Saint Bernard Puppy costs more up front and less in the first months.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a giant Saint Bernard Puppy to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.
Is a Saint Bernard Puppy a sensible choice for you in Kodumur?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Saint Bernard Puppy placements in Kodumur than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Saint Bernard Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹39,369 to ₹39,369 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Saint Bernard Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Saint Bernard in Kodumur: local climate
Kodumur is hottest in April, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Saint Bernard needs real protection from that because its double coat holds heat close to the body and a giant body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in September.
For a new Saint Bernard puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, August, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 32 | 35 | 38 | 40 | 39 | 33 | 32 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 25 | 26 | 24 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 21 | 18 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 4 | 2 | 14 | 23 | 61 | 84 | 96 | 102 | 147 | 87 | 22 | 3 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Saint Bernard Puppy
A practical checklist for a giant dog in a Kodumur flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a family friendly breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
