Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Boxer Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Araku Valley flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
What a Boxer Puppy costs in Araku Valley
Between ₹26,995 and ₹26,995 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Boxer Puppy costs more up front and less in the first months.
Is a Boxer Puppy a sensible choice for you in Araku Valley?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Boxer Puppy placements in Araku Valley than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Boxer Puppy reads consistency as safety, and a settled dog learns faster.
Feeding a large dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Boxer Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Health records you should insist on
Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a large dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Boxer Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹26,995 to ₹26,995 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Boxer Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Health and handover
Every Boxer Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Boxer in Araku Valley: local climate
The city sits at about 921 m above sea level, so it runs cooler than the plains around it.
Summer here peaks in April at about 35°C. That is manageable for a Boxer, but watch it closely because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and a large body sheds heat slowly: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 10°C. A Boxer has a short, thin coat, so a light sweater helps on the coldest nights.
The rainy season runs from June to October, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Boxer puppy, the easiest months to arrive are February and November: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 24 | 28 | 33 | 35 | 35 | 29 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 24 | 23 | 22 |
| Low °C | 10 | 13 | 17 | 20 | 22 | 21 | 20 | 20 | 19 | 17 | 13 | 10 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 13 | 17 | 41 | 72 | 195 | 271 | 278 | 257 | 185 | 57 | 16 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Boxer Puppy
A practical checklist for a large dog in a Araku Valley flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a family friendly breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
