What is listed for Araku Valley is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Chihuahua Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Is a Chihuahua Puppy a sensible choice for you in Araku Valley?
You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A tiny dog in a Araku Valley apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
coastal tropical, and moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the dog dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Health records you should insist on
Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a tiny dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Settling in with children and other pets
Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new tiny dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.
What a Chihuahua Puppy costs in Araku Valley
The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Chihuahua Puppy without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Chihuahua Puppy that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.
Chihuahua Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹27,994 to ₹27,994 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Chihuahua Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Chihuahua in Araku Valley: local climate
The city sits at about 921 m above sea level, so it runs cooler than the plains around it.
Summer here peaks in April at about 35°C. That is manageable for a Chihuahua: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 10°C. A Chihuahua has a short, thin coat, so a light sweater helps on the coldest nights.
The rainy season runs from June to October, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Chihuahua puppy, the easiest months to arrive are February, March, May and November: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 24 | 28 | 33 | 35 | 35 | 29 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 24 | 23 | 22 |
| Low °C | 10 | 13 | 17 | 20 | 22 | 21 | 20 | 20 | 19 | 17 | 13 | 10 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 13 | 17 | 41 | 72 | 195 | 271 | 278 | 257 | 185 | 57 | 16 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
