Buy Himalayan Kittens in Vellore, Tamil Nadu
What is listed for Vellore is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different cat that fits your schedule than sell you the Himalayan Kittens you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Weather, coat and the Tamil Nadu year
The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a medium cat notices both. the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Himalayan Kittens will barely register the change.
Is a Himalayan Kittens a sensible choice for you in Vellore?
You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium cat in a Vellore apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Himalayan Kittens arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a cat that seeks them out.
What a Himalayan Kittens costs in Vellore
The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Himalayan Kittens without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Feeding a medium cat without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the cat lobbies. A Himalayan Kittens that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Himalayan Kittens reads consistency as safety, and a settled cat learns faster.
Himalayan Kittens price, and the cost after it
₹28,881 to ₹28,881 for the cat. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Himalayan Kittens without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Health and handover
Every Himalayan Kittens is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a medium cat moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Himalayan in Vellore: local climate
Vellore is hottest in April, averaging 38°C in the afternoon. A Himalayan needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and its double coat holds heat close to the body: a cool room with the curtains drawn in the afternoon, a tiled floor to lie on, and fresh water in more than one place.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from October to November, and November is usually the wettest month. Dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Himalayan kitten, the easiest months to arrive are December to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 28 | 32 | 36 | 38 | 37 | 35 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 30 | 28 | 27 |
| Low °C | 16 | 17 | 20 | 24 | 26 | 24 | 24 | 23 | 23 | 22 | 20 | 18 |
| Rain mm | 12 | 7 | 15 | 34 | 66 | 72 | 104 | 121 | 146 | 198 | 201 | 79 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Himalayan Kittens
Your week with a Himalayan Kittens, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the cat properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Himalayan Kittens comes home.
