What is listed for Devikulam is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different cat that fits your schedule than sell you the Scottish Fold Kitten you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Is a Scottish Fold Kitten a sensible choice for you in Devikulam?
You are choosing a 12 to 15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small cat in a Devikulam apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the cat to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Scottish Fold Kitten.
Feeding a small cat without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
What a Scottish Fold Kitten costs in Devikulam
The purchase is the small number. Over 12 to 15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Scottish Fold Kitten without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Weather, coat and the Kerala year
humid coastal, and the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the cat dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Settling in with children and other pets
Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small cat entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.
Scottish Fold Kitten price, and the cost after it
₹75,338 to ₹75,338 for the cat. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Scottish Fold Kitten without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Health and handover
Every Scottish Fold Kitten is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small cat moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Scottish Fold in Devikulam: local climate
The city sits at about 1,594 m above sea level, so it runs cooler than the plains around it.
Summers here are mild, peaking at about 26°C in March, so heat is rarely the problem for a Scottish Fold that it is on the plains.
Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 10°C. A light sweater helps a small Scottish Fold on the coldest nights.
The rainy season runs from May to November, and June is usually the wettest month. Dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Scottish Fold kitten, the easiest months to arrive are March to April: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
