Scottish Fold Kitten | Standard Grey

Thinking about a Scottish Fold Kitten? It is a small cat, friendly, and lives around 12 to 15 years. Before anything else, check your week: this breed does well when someone is home to break up the day, and poorly with eleven empty hours.

If that does not describe your household, tell us - we would rather point you at a different cat that fits than sell you this one.

Your Scottish Fold Kitten checklist

• Damp: dry it properly in the wet months - skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
• Water: away from the food, and refreshed daily - many cats drink far too little.
• Climbing: vertical space matters more than floor space - a shelf or tall post changes how settled an indoor cat is.
• Scratching: give it a post it actually likes, or it will choose your furniture.
• Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
