Feeding a small cat without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small cat notices both. the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Scottish Fold Kitten will barely register the change.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A friendly Scottish Fold Kitten that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 12 to 15 Years is easier.
