We place across Thalassery and the wider Kerala region. If a tiny small pet does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Sugar Glider comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Thalassery flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Is a Sugar Glider a sensible choice for you in Thalassery?

You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A tiny small pet in a Thalassery apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

warm and humid, and moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the small pet dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Feeding a tiny small pet without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Sugar Glider will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the small pet to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Sugar Glider.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a tiny small pet moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

What you will pay

Expect ₹17,394 upward, to around ₹17,394. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.

Health and handover

Every Sugar Glider is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a tiny small pet moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
