Is a Sugar Glider a sensible choice for you in Ponnampet?

You are choosing a 10–12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A tiny small pet in a Ponnampet apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new tiny small pet entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the small pet to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Sugar Glider.

What you will pay

Expect ₹16,776 upward, to around ₹16,776. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10–12 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
