Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Sugar Glider comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Chellaghatta flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Is a Sugar Glider a sensible choice for you in Chellaghatta?

You are choosing a 10–12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A tiny small pet in a Chellaghatta apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Feeding a tiny small pet without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Sugar Glider will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a tiny small pet notices both. comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Sugar Glider will barely register the change.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a tiny Sugar Glider to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the small pet already has one place it considers its own.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Sugar Glider names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented small pet from an undocumented one.

What you will pay

Expect ₹16,776 upward, to around ₹16,776. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10–12 Years.

Health and handover

Every Sugar Glider is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a tiny small pet moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
