African Love Birds Yellow & Orange

The African Love Birds is friendly and tiny-built, typically its lifetime. It is a practical choice for a Bengaluru apartment: it wants company more than square footage.

Three things to sort before it arrives - that your association permits it, that the lift is reliable, and that you have runners down over polished flooring.

Your African Love Birds checklist

• Damp: dry it properly in the wet months - skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
• Nails and beak: checked periodically; overgrowth signals a diet or perch problem.
• Enrichment: foraging toys rotated weekly, or it will find its own entertainment.
• Company: these are social birds - hours of silence are as hard on them as a poor diet.
• Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
