We place across Shankarpalle and the wider Telangana region. If a medium bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Is a Yellow Naped Amazon a sensible choice for you in Shankarpalle?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Yellow Naped Amazon placements in Shankarpalle than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Yellow Naped Amazon is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.
What a Yellow Naped Amazon costs in Shankarpalle
Between ₹94,020 and ₹94,020 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Yellow Naped Amazon costs more up front and less in the first months.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Yellow Naped Amazon names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.
Feeding a medium bird without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A medium breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Yellow Naped Amazon that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.
Yellow Naped Amazon price, and the cost after it
₹94,020 to ₹94,020 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Yellow Naped Amazon without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Yellow Naped Amazon in Shankarpalle: local climate
Shankarpalle is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Yellow Naped Amazon needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 14°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Yellow Naped Amazon bird, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, June, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 30 | 33 | 37 | 39 | 40 | 33 | 30 | 29 | 29 | 28 | 28 | 28 |
| Low °C | 14 | 17 | 21 | 24 | 26 | 24 | 22 | 21 | 21 | 19 | 16 | 14 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 5 | 20 | 26 | 30 | 110 | 168 | 184 | 160 | 84 | 13 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Yellow Naped Amazon
Your week with a Yellow Naped Amazon, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the bird properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Yellow Naped Amazon comes home.
