What is listed for Narketpally is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Hahn's Macaw you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Hahn's Macaw is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Hahn's Macaw will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.
Weather, coat and the Telangana year
comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward For a Hahn's Macaw that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
What a Hahn's Macaw costs in Narketpally
Expect ₹64,953 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Hahn's Macaw reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.
Is a Hahn's Macaw a sensible choice for you in Narketpally?
You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Narketpally apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
What you will pay
Expect ₹64,953 upward, to around ₹64,953. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Hahn's Macaw in Narketpally: local climate
Narketpally is hottest in May, averaging 41°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Hahn's Macaw needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
Most of the year's rain falls in August. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Hahn's Macaw bird, the easiest months to arrive are October to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 38 | 41 | 41 | 35 | 33 | 31 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 29 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 25 | 28 | 26 | 24 | 24 | 23 | 21 | 18 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 6 | 16 | 21 | 33 | 103 | 145 | 165 | 141 | 100 | 23 | 6 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
