What is listed for Nalgonda is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Yellow Naped Amazon you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Is a Yellow Naped Amazon a sensible choice for you in Nalgonda?
You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium bird in a Nalgonda apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a medium bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Yellow Naped Amazon are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.
What a Yellow Naped Amazon costs in Nalgonda
Between ₹94,020 and ₹94,020 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Yellow Naped Amazon costs more up front and less in the first months.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Yellow Naped Amazon arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Yellow Naped Amazon reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Yellow Naped Amazon; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Yellow Naped Amazon price, and the cost after it
₹94,020 to ₹94,020 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Yellow Naped Amazon without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Yellow Naped Amazon in Nalgonda: local climate
Nalgonda is hottest in May, averaging 41°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Yellow Naped Amazon needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
Most of the year's rain falls in August. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Yellow Naped Amazon bird, the easiest months to arrive are October to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 38 | 41 | 41 | 35 | 33 | 31 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 29 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 25 | 28 | 26 | 24 | 23 | 23 | 21 | 18 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 6 | 16 | 21 | 33 | 103 | 145 | 165 | 141 | 100 | 23 | 6 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

A practical checklist for a medium bird in a Nalgonda flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
