Buy Rainbow Lorikeet in Mothey, Telangana
What is listed for Mothey is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Rainbow Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a small Rainbow Lorikeet to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.
Weather, coat and the Telangana year
mild tropical plateau, and the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Rainbow Lorikeet; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Is a Rainbow Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Mothey?
You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Mothey apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Rainbow Lorikeet that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Rainbow Lorikeet price, and the cost after it
₹19,639 to ₹19,639 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Rainbow Lorikeet without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Rainbow Lorikeet in Mothey: local climate
Mothey is hottest in May, averaging 41°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Rainbow Lorikeet needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Rainbow Lorikeet bird, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 38 | 41 | 41 | 35 | 33 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 25 | 28 | 26 | 24 | 24 | 23 | 22 | 18 | 16 |

Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
