Buy Scarlet Macaw in Kothakota, Telangana
We place across Kothakota and the wider Telangana region. If a large bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Feeding a large bird without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A large breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Scarlet Macaw.
Weather, coat and the Telangana year
pleasant semi-tropical, and the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Is a Scarlet Macaw a sensible choice for you in Kothakota?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Scarlet Macaw placements in Kothakota than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Scarlet Macaw that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Scarlet Macaw arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.
Scarlet Macaw price, and the cost after it
₹298,026 to ₹298,026 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Scarlet Macaw without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Health and handover
Every Scarlet Macaw is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Scarlet Macaw in Kothakota: local climate
Kothakota is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Scarlet Macaw needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 15°C, so cold is not a concern.
Most of the year's rain falls in September. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Scarlet Macaw bird, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, June, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 35 | 38 | 40 | 40 | 34 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 25 | 27 | 24 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 20 | 17 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 5 | 3 | 17 | 25 | 43 | 100 | 134 | 143 | 156 | 89 | 16 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
