Buy Cockatiel in Chilkur, Telangana

We place across Chilkur and the wider Telangana region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Cockatiel.

Is a Cockatiel a sensible choice for you in Chilkur?

You are choosing a 15-20 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Chilkur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Cockatiel; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Cockatiel that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 15-20 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A calm Cockatiel is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 15-20 Years.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Cockatiel comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Chilkur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

What you will pay

Expect ₹4,255 upward, to around ₹4,255. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 15-20 Years.

Health and handover

Every Cockatiel is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
