What is listed for Adilabad Rural is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Yellow Naped Amazon you asked for and hear about it in six months.
What a Yellow Naped Amazon costs in Adilabad Rural
The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Yellow Naped Amazon without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Yellow Naped Amazon names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.
Settling in with children and other pets
Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new medium bird entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Yellow Naped Amazon comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Adilabad Rural flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Weather, coat and the Telangana year
The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a medium bird notices both. comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Yellow Naped Amazon will barely register the change.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a medium Yellow Naped Amazon to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.
Yellow Naped Amazon price, and the cost after it
₹94,020 to ₹94,020 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Yellow Naped Amazon without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Yellow Naped Amazon in Adilabad Rural: local climate
Adilabad Rural is hottest in May, averaging 44°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Yellow Naped Amazon needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 13°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from June to September, and July is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Yellow Naped Amazon bird, the easiest months to arrive are October to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 30 | 34 | 38 | 42 | 44 | 36 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 14 | 18 | 22 | 26 | 29 | 27 | 24 | 23 | 23 | 20 | 16 | 13 |
| Rain mm | 12 | 8 | 19 | 13 | 18 | 157 | 268 | 233 | 162 | 55 | 10 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Yellow Naped Amazon
Your week with a Yellow Naped Amazon, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the bird properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Yellow Naped Amazon comes home.
