We place across Vedasandur and the wider Tamil Nadu region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Rainbow Lorikeet names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Rainbow Lorikeet to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

What a Rainbow Lorikeet costs in Vedasandur

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Rainbow Lorikeet without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Is a Rainbow Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Vedasandur?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Vedasandur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Weather, coat and the Tamil Nadu year

the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention For a Rainbow Lorikeet that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Rainbow Lorikeet that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.

What you will pay

Expect ₹19,639 upward, to around ₹19,639. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
