Buy Cockatiel in Vazhapadi, Tamil Nadu

What is listed for Vazhapadi is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Cockatiel you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Is a Cockatiel a sensible choice for you in Vazhapadi?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Cockatiel placements in Vazhapadi than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A gentle Cockatiel that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 15-20 Years is easier.

Weather, coat and the Tamil Nadu year

humid coastal, and the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Cockatiel.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A gentle Cockatiel is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 15-20 Years.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Cockatiel; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

What you will pay

Expect ₹3,310 upward, to around ₹3,310. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 15-20 Years.

Health and handover

Every Cockatiel is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
