Buy Cockatiel in Tiruvottiyur, Tamil Nadu

What is listed for Tiruvottiyur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Cockatiel you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Cockatiel; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small bird, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Cockatiel are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A gentle Cockatiel is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 15-20 Years.

Weather, coat and the Tamil Nadu year

the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important For a Cockatiel that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Is a Cockatiel a sensible choice for you in Tiruvottiyur?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a gentle Cockatiel will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Tiruvottiyur without much drama.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Cockatiel to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Cockatiel price, and the cost after it

₹9,000 to ₹9,000 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Cockatiel without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Health and handover

Every Cockatiel is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
